| CHIANG MAI TREKKING |
| |
| Chiangmai travel agent dot com proudly offers selected routes for trekking tours in Chiang Mai, which are considered the most challenging and memorable.
Years of experience in our trekking programs have taught us that to provide the "ultimate experience in adventure." we must constantly update our programs to meet the changing seasonal conditions.
Thailand has been blessed with a series of mountain ranges which feed our extensive system of rivers, lakes and streams. These in turn feed our lush jungles and forests which provide home to mammals, reptiles, birds and butterfly.
Chiangmai's National Conservation Forest offers a biodiversity second to none in S.E. Asia, and assures you the ultimate trekking experience. Each of our tours, depending on duration and destination are tailored to provide you with the ultimate exposure to beauty. "This is not a walk in the park." |
| |
 |
Elephant trekking is its own unique experience. Regardless of what you've read of the elephant mahout relationship, until you have experienced it, you'll never understand this mutually beneficial bond.
Lumbering up and down the mountainside on our national symbol: our elephant, as he dictates his path requires patience. Experience the pleasure of "sharing" a black mud bath, and the river washing events. You'll experience not only the personal contact with the elephant, but enjoy breathtaking scenery of the mountainous terrain. |

| Bamboo rafting is one of the most enjoyable events of our beautiful ecosystem. Our river system, depending on the season, are usually narrow, fast running vessels with untouched isles and coves.
Our specially designed rafts are ideal for these trips and provide views of our luxuriant forests and the aquatic mammals and birdlife along with dodging the elephants at their crossing and bathing areas. Each raft can accommodate 2 to 4 people along with the steersman.
The degree of difficulty varies from 1 to 2 which provide both river excitement and panoramic views.
Althought bamboo rafting is restricted during the rainy season due to the velocity of current, it opens the season for white water rafting which is designed for these increased currents. |

|
| |
 |
White water rafting is certainly one of the livelier and more exciting experiences available here. As season and rainfall dictate, rapid difficulty varies form 2 to 3 initially, to the 3 and 4 difficulty waters. Regardless of the difficulty range, the scenery and water life experience is unsurpassed in all of S.E. Asia.
Whether your agenda is trekking, riding or rafting on whitewater, your safety is our greatest concern. Our "Team" are not only well trained in first aid, CPR, and the survival techniques, but we have the finest safety record in Thailand. |
