Mae Ta Marn Elephant Barn was located on Amphur Mae Tang. It has the area of 25 rai. It has been opening for tourists to visit and join the activities with kind Thai elephant since August 17, 1987 . On that day, we had 10 elephants but right now we have totally 80 elephants to serve both Thais and foreigners who come to watch the elephant performance, ride the elephant, experience the way of life of Thai Lee Saw hill tribe, have bamboo rafting, and take a short jungle trek.

Set off in the morning to the forested area of Mae Tang for a visit to Mae Taman Elephant camp,Take a chance to feed the elephants also the baby one with the banana and sugarcane. Make yourselves smile when looking at the baby elephants enjoy bathing and being naughty before seeing them being trained to be used for logging. After the show, proceed with bamboo rafting along scenic Mae Taman river.

Lunch at the restaurant, then drive to a remoated elephant village to take a ride on the elephant back to the jungle with a real local mahout passing natural surrounding.
